From High Holy Day choirs to Jewish Broadway choral concerts, Cantor Ruth Ross excels at teaching, guiding and growing volunteer choirs. Her choral compositions, many written specifically for her choirs are notable for their accessibility. Choir is an important way to build community, not only because the members breath in unison but because choir music forces the singers to listen to each other.

An experienced and talented teacher, Cantor Ross loves to build confidence in her students, no matter how old they are. From bnei mitzvah teens, to adult learners, to Tot Shabbats, her ability to listen to and support her students makes her a consistently successful instructor.

Online Community Building:

Cantor Ross has conducted choirs in person for years, but the pandemic made that even more of a challenge. Still, quarantine is no reason to stop singing. Click below to visit Cantor Ross’ YouTube Channel. There you will find 365 days of music to sing along with.
